Brow lamination in Da Nang: what it is, how long it lasts, and who it suits

Laminated brows stay brushed-up and full for weeks. Here is how the treatment works, what it costs in Da Nang, and how to keep the result crisp.

What brow lamination actually does

Brow lamination is a chemical restructuring of the hair. A softening lotion relaxes the bonds in each brow hair, the master combs the hairs into the desired direction, and a neutraliser fixes them in that new shape. Nothing is glued, implanted or tattooed — the hair itself is set.

The result is a fuller, brushed-up brow that follows your natural growth line instead of fighting it. Sparse patches look denser because hairs are redirected to cover the gaps.

How the appointment goes at Brandis Salon

The full appointment usually takes 45–70 minutes depending on the add-ons you choose.

  • Consultation and mapping — we look at your face proportions and growth direction.
  • Lamination in two or three steps, depending on hair thickness.
  • Optional tinting to match your hair colour and add visual density.
  • Optional correction (wax or tweezers) to clean the shape.
  • Nourishing care to restore moisture after processing.

How long the result lasts

Most clients keep a clean laminated look for four to six weeks. Coarse, thick brows sometimes hold longer; very fine hair may relax after three to four weeks. Repeat lamination is recommended no more often than once every five to six weeks so the hair can recover.

Aftercare that actually matters

  • Keep brows dry for the first 24 hours — no shower steam, sauna, pool or sweaty gym session.
  • Do not sleep face-down on the first night.
  • Brush the brows upward every morning with a clean spoolie.
  • Apply brow oil or a light serum daily — laminated hair needs moisture.
  • Skip oily makeup removers directly on the brow line.

Who should not do it

Lamination is not advised on damaged, over-processed or extremely brittle hair, on irritated skin, or immediately after permanent makeup. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, tell your master — we will adjust the products and patch test first.

Frequently asked

Does brow lamination damage the hair?

Done at correct intervals with nourishing aftercare, no. Damage comes from repeating the treatment too often — more than once a month — or skipping conditioning care.

Can I combine lamination with tinting?

Yes, and most clients do. Tinting is applied after lamination while the cuticle is still open, so colour takes better and looks denser.
